The RRD Shield is a premium low-profile carbon kite harness from the top-tier RRD brand. The light, rigid hard shell is a 3D-moulded plate of dispersed carbon composite reinforcing the back of the harness. The stiff back improves support by spreading the hook's pulling force evenly across the whole back. Unlike some other hard-shell harnesses on the market, the Shield's side and rib sections are slightly flexible, allowing unrestricted body movement and rib protection. The stiffness of the Shield's low outer shell replaces the need for a tall back section and provides all the back support you need. The harness's low profile combined with softer sides gives you unrestricted body movement, so your moves can be more deliberate than ever. The interior is made of memory foam combined with soft neoprene, giving you extra comfort and performance during long, intense sessions. The improved hook pad with stabilising wings locks into the harness itself, preventing the hook from riding up and twisting while protecting your ribs.
