Lieuwe Shotgun kiteboard rental

The Shotgun is the result of a decade-long pursuit of the perfect freeride board — handmade, ultra light and so comfortable you will not want to give it back. The ideal pick if your kite gear rental should include a board that raises your riding rather than just "doing its job".

Why the Shotgun

• Middle flex — the board absorbs chop, so less force reaches your knees and back.
• Speed and control on flat water and in choppy conditions alike.
• High jumps with soft landings and predictable pop.

What the rental includes

• The Lieuwe Shotgun board with pads and straps set to your size
• Fins and a handle

The kite and bar are not included — add a kite + bar rental or take a full set where the board is already included. For purchase: Lieuwe Shotgun.

Tip: if you mostly ride choppy water, the Shotgun's middle flex will spare your knees and back.

Rental price

• Daily rental: €20
• Weekly rental: €120 (7 days)

Longer rentals add up by weeks and days — 8 days means €120 + €20 = €140. Payment on pick-up, no deposit.

How kite gear rental works

1. In the calendar above, pick your pick-up and return dates — booked days are marked.
2. Submit the booking; the slot is held until we confirm it.
3. You pick up the gear at our shop at Verovškova 60a in Ljubljana, where we set it up for your weight and the conditions.
4. You pay on pick-up — no deposit and no hidden costs.

Rental FAQ

What do I need to rent?

An ID and basic kiting skills (independent kite launch and upwind riding). If you are just starting, we recommend a course — and we will help you choose.

What if there is no wind?

Let us know in time; a windless slot can be moved to the next opportunity by agreement.

Can the rental count towards a purchase?

Yes — if you decide to buy the same model after renting, we will talk about a benefit. Ask us when returning the gear.

Kiting regularly? The annual subscription is cheaper
