Leonardo Casati is the new GKA Big Air world champion
The first stop of the GKA Big Air World Cup in Mykonos got ideal conditions after a two-day wait for the Meltemi — and Leonardo Casati took the event win along with the GKA Big Air 2026 world champion title.
A final decided by the very first jump
Leonardo opened the final with a move scored 9.40 that immediately set the tone. Second place went to his brother Lorenzo, the defending champion. The Casati brothers looked untouchable all event — they won every heat they entered.
Team Harlem
- Sarah Sadek reached the women’s final and finished 4th.
- Stino Mul progressed through several rounds before being eliminated.
- Baptiste Bourdoulous, co-organiser of the event, won the Wild Card heat and competed on home waters.
The gear that wins a title
The Casati brothers rode the Harlem Peak — an ultra-light five-strut Big Air kite — combined with the Harlem Ascent twintip board. The gear is designed for explosive lift, exceptional stability and confidence in the toughest conditions; it was designed by Ralf Groesel and Aaron Hadlow.
We carry both models:
