Bars — your connection to the kite

The control bar is the most safety-critical piece of gear: through it you steer the kite, regulate power and trigger the safety system in an emergency. We stock original bars from Harlem, Nobile, Ozone and RRD as well as replacement line sets.

How to choose a bar

Match the bar to the kite brand

Line lengths, bridle geometry and safety-system behaviour are tuned to the kite. Mixing brands is possible, but only with expert judgement — we are happy to advise.

What to look at

• Bar length — bigger kites call for a longer bar (typically 45–55 cm).
• Line length — longer lines give more power and higher jumps, shorter ones a faster response; often adjustable.
• Line material — quality Dyneema stretches less and holds its trim longer.
• Safety system — easy one-hand release and simple reassembly.

Maintenance

Lines stretch and wear with use. If you notice length differences or wear, replace the whole set — replacement line sets for Harlem, Ozone and RRD bars are in this category.
